At the house
With numerous activities in and around the Leisure Beach House, you will always have something to keep you busy and your mind off of the hustle and bustle of the cities.
The main attraction of the house is Drake's beach at the boundary of the property, adjoining the popular TO strand. Drake's beach is a public beach but never too crowded.
Please note that swimming on Drake's beach is at own risk and that the ocean current can be dangerous and even life-threatening to advanced swimmers. TO strand has life guards on duty and is only a brisk walk away along the ocean waves.
The house is equipped with wi-fi, DSTV and braai areas for those lazy stay-at-home or rainy days.
Places to visit
There is no shortage of things to do away from the house either.
- Wild Coast Sun hotel ( Google maps) is only 10km away and features numerous activities such as a casino, golf course, water park and many more.
- Beaver Creek coffee estate ( Google maps) is a popular spot for coffee lovers with their own brand of coffee and even offer a bottomless coffee for people who want to experience all the different blends on offer.
- Mac Banana ( Google maps) is popular spot for warm pancakes at it's pancake bar, grocery shopping and activities. It features a putt-putt course, butterfly farm, quad bikes, paintball and much more.
- South Coast Mall ( Google maps) is about a 27 minute drive for your more serious shopping needs.
- Shelly Centre ( Google maps) features a Ster Kinekor and numerous other shops and restaurants to keep you busy on those rainy days.
- Margate ( Google maps) is a popular attraction for students during December holidays due to it's night life and is only a 20 minute drive.
